Dr. Wolfgang Mann

Wolfgang Mann, freelance consultant

Wolfgang Mann received his Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of California, Berkeley. Since then, he has worked as researcher/part-time lecturer in the Department of Language & Communication Science at City University London, and the Deafness Cognition and Language Research Centre (DCAL) at University College London (UCL). Dr. Mann’s areas of interest include language development and language difficulties in deaf children as well as (sign) language assessment. He recently returned to City University after a 2-year research visit at the University of Texas at Austin where he studied deaf children’s response to dynamic assessment procedures within a language-learning context. Currently, he is a senior lecturer in Special and Inclusive Education at the University of Roehampton, London.
